Welcome! I’m Samantha, the proud mother to 2 beautiful girls. My husband and I knew we were going to homeschool our children long before we had them. I’m so blessed to be in this position to watch them learn and grow. Homeschooling my girls has become such a passion for me and I love coming up with new ways to make learning fun for them. I feel as though I am learning so much about myself and my children.

My oldest is in fourth grade and my youngest is in second. I am constantly learning new approaches and ways to make our schooling go a bit smoother with every adjustment. I am so grateful for the online community I have joined, where parents come together to share their journeys and encourage one another through this learning-roller coaster ride.

I created Ourhomeschooljourney1.com to document our fun activities, learning adventures and my homeschool truths. I want this to be a place homeschool parents can come to get ideas and follow along on this amazing journey.
I am part of a beautiful homeschool community on Instagram where I have been blessed to connect with so many homeschool mothers on a daily basis. I have enjoyed all our conversations throughout the years and love learning more about you all. I have a passion for homeschooling and helping others in any way possible, whether it’s by sharing all aspects of our homeschooling journey or answering your questions. I hope to always leave my inbox open to any mama out there who has questions, needs to vent, or needs advice.
